How I Rediscovered Faith | RELEVANT Magazine. Malcom Gladwell is one of the most fascinating writers and social observers that I read. This is a great reflection on how his journey has led him back to faith. His books Tipping Point and David and Goliath are excellent and I highly recommend them.

5 Must-Reads on Religion and Social Media | (A)theologies | Religion Dispatches. In recent centuries the Church seems to be behind the curve from the rest of the world. Like Wired Jesus, back in 2006 it was a top 25 religious podcast world wide, now not even a blip on the radar and fluttering in […]
The Rules Have Changed, Pastor… (Be sure you know the rules!) • ToddRhoades.com | ToddRhoades.com. While this article really doesn’t say anything new about the state of the North American Church, it does say it well. We are struggling to come to grips that things have changed and what many of were trained to do […]

Anne Rice Talks About Her Faith, the Bible & Her New Book ‘The Wolf Gift’ | TheBlaze.com. Interesting. This story comes off Glenn Beck’s news aggregator, The Blaze, not exactly where I would expect Anne Rice to be giving an interview. A very intelligent and thoughtful woman, this article is well worth reading.
Well, here is one of our Lutheran scholars talking about the rapture and her book on it on MSNBC. The thing is, even though this rapture drama is over, the teaching is still out there and it will happen again. Her book and interview help put it into a better perspective the next time around. […]

This started on Facebook but a running post here on Wired Jesus might make a better venue for discussion, especially considering my next podcast that is in the works is on the larger issue of the evangelical uproar over the book. Rob has not said anything new, as he says, but I would say the […]
